What Does "Unique Number" Mean?
It means the only number that is picked by only one person. If more than one person picks the number, then it can't win.

Seems Pretty Simple. What's the Catch?
It's kind of hard to think about strategy in this game. I mean, 1 is the lowest possible number, so you could just guess 1, and if nobody else picks it, then you win! But if anyone else thinks the same thing and picks 1, then you lose. But then if everyone thinks that everyone will think that, then no one will pick 1, so you can pick 1 and win! But if anyone else thinks that everyone else will think that everyone else will think that, then they'll pick 1 too, and you'll lose.

Then maybe you think, "Well, let's forget about 1; 2's pretty low too." But then if anyone else thinks that . . .

Basically, you're trying to second-guess everyone else, while they're trying to second-guess you. It can blow your mind if you think too hard. Luckily, all you really have to do is pick a number. Any number.

How Do I Pick a Number?
You get to pick TWO numbers in this challenge. One high, and one low. Please post your numbers here, as a comment to this post. Comments are screened and you will receive no confirmation that your entry has been received, or if it is incorrect.

Further Clarifications
Only numbers between 1 and 50 (i.e., 1, 2, 3, ..., 50). You can't use numbers less than 1 or greater than 50.
Only whole numbers; no fractions. You can't pick 1.00000000000001, 2-2/3, the square root of 2, pi, or e. (Mmmm...pie...).

Do not discuss your guesses or concrete strategy with your team or any other players! This game depends on not knowing what other people are guessing, and it ends up being a lot less fun if people actually tell you what they're guessing. I promise that everyone will get to see all the guesses at the end.
